Trivandrum Burning..

I don t know the rest of the places in india but trivandrum is certainly burning and is scorching hot. The rest of the world is not alien to this effect as global warming is taking its stride. Temperatures are soaring high . sometimes when we are at home even the home seems to be a hell even when all the fans are working. It was never like this before in trivandrum. The climate used to be good and comfortable. summers are becoming unbearable. Now a days if you don t have ac at home people prefer to be at office rather than at home even on holidays. No wonder people rush to the theaters to watch movie for the matinee so that at least they can remain comfortable for sometime at the cost of rs. 50 rather than sleeping soundly at home.

This scorching heat takes what all energy one has and people sleep in the noon because of it. many people feel its better to be in a theater rather than to sleep at home. All this trouble is due to global warming. As indian citizens we all should strive to fight against global warming. otherwise it can adversely affect the environment around us. everyone should take interest in planting trees so that it reduces the emission of greenhouse gases. i have visited places which are far away from the city and they are full of trees and greenery. efforts must be taken to make the cities green and clean. Industrialization is one we cant avoid as it is one of the causes of the improving the economic condition of our country. so industrialization and protection of the environment should go hand in hand. Visiting the theater just to be comfortable is the most pathetic situation. no wonder malayalam movies fare well at the box office unlike a few years ago. People are ready to watch even average movies. its just that the theater should be good enough.

Petrol price.. on the rise.. enna koduma sir?

SO the price of petrol is on the up . lagta hai UPA govt jaldi hi upar jayegi uparwale ke paas.. I don t like to be political but this central govt wont spare anyone. scams after scams they are not tired a wee bit. Bofors, 2g, 3g, commonwealth games and now petrol. A few years ago the price of petrol was 45 rupees. but now it is 70 bucks. People are getting crazy about the price rise and are on the rampage. The opposition parties are taking advantage of the situations destroying public properties such as offices and buses all because the price of petrol was hiked by 3 rupee. its not the way to retaliate. here i would like to congratulate Anna hazare for his efforts to pass the lokpal bill. everyone should come forward like anna and help to protect the nation and raise their voice against corruption. when corrupt countries like pakistan and bangladesh charge only 25 rupees for petrol why this discrepancy and corruption should be tolerated?

But the biggest problem is its after effect. It badly affects the automobile industry by affecting its sale. The demand of petrol is on the all time low as people are preferring diesel and LPG vehicles. recently tvs mahindra has launched electric cars. the time is not far away when electric vehicles will flourish in the market. petrol hike was because the govt had its way by giving the private companies to hike the price by its own. its a sure case of scam as lots of money were involved in giving them the rights and making the common man suffer the consequences. Its a matter of utter concern and i give the central govt a big thumps down...
